Systemic learning communities engage parents and community members in the development and communication of the district’s vision, mission and beliefs. The inclusion of parents, business and community members as stakeholders in the districts systemic culture, promotes a relationship based on cooperation, trust and support. Avery I.S.D. has begun a journey to realize a true culture of excellence. The formula for such success involves the inclusivity of parents and community throughout the entire journey. AISD will soon be developing Committees of Cultural Change (C3). The community members who serve will play a vital role in the district’s ability to develop and sustain a high performing systemic culture. Through participation in the district planning processes and through communication of the district’s systemic foundation to other parents and community members, the C3 members become ambassadors for the school. Be looking for upcoming correspondence from the school regarding how you can be involved in this exciting process.
