It's time once again to gather together and reminisce with old acquaintances and make some new memories. Alumni will gather the weekend of September 12th and 13th, 2008 at Avery Independent School District. Many students, teachers, and faculty members have passed through the doors of our school and we would like to spend the weekend remembering some of those people and the events that transpired while here at Avery ISD.
The following schedule of events are being planned. This is a tentative schedule. Note that a time has been set aside for individual classes to visit together. Individual class representatives will be responsible for planning any class events. Also note that Saturday lunch will be available at the school.
September 12th
5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Avery Junior Class will have dinner available in the school cafetorium.
7:00 p.m. - until completed Registration in the high school gym.
September 13th
10:00 a.m. Continue registration and renew acquaintances (high school gym).
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Avery Spanish Club will be serving hamburgers.
1:15 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. Assembly in high school gym.
2:15 p.m. - until completed Oldies/Goodies show and music.
4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Avery PTO will be serving spaghetti dinner.
4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Dance/Music (Durango)
T-Shirts will be available for sale from the Avery cheerleader squad all weekend.
Monetary donations will be accepted for expenses occurred for the reunion (band and advertisement).
