AP Calculus- Course Description and Grading Policy

COURSE DESCRIPTON

This is an advance math.  Students move up a year to take this class which are designed to give the students a very strong background in these areas.  At the end of  the
AP Calculus students will take the AP test in order to try to get college credits in Calculus that are accepted at nearly every college or university in the world.  If the students in Physics perform at a  high enough level, they can also take the AP test.

MAKE-UP WORK

 

A.  Students should come in early on the morning after an absence to get make-up work and tutoring if necessary.

B.  Students have three days to get make-up work and turn it in. It is their responsibility

C.  Late work is not accepted except in extenuating circumstances awarded by the teacher

 

TUTORING

I will be in the classroom by 7:00AM everyday and I will stay late in the afternoon if the student ask me too.  I am also available during activity period.

 

GRADING POLICY

TEST- 50%

QUIZE-25%

DAILY WORK-25%
