7:45- students go to classroom

7:50-7:55- pledge and attendance

8:00-9:35- Reading Block

9:40-10:30 English, Writing, Spelling

10:30-11:15- P.E.

11:15-11:45- Lunch

11:50-1:20- Reading Block

1:25-2:05- English, Writing, Spelling

2:10-2:40- Break/Tutorials (Wednesday’s Art Time)

2:45-3:25- Computer, Library, or Reading Skills

3:30- Dismiss

 

Reading

This year we will experience the rivers of the world by reading about them. We will discover many new and interesting places, people, and things. This six weeks we will finish our journey through the Europe and then travel into Africa

 

English

 In English this six weeks we will discuss and review commas, proper and common nouns, adjectives, plural and singular nouns, and verbs. We will also be working on prewriting techniques to help us write short stories.

 

Spelling

Students need to complete their spelling contract each week for a grade. They will have a spelling test on each Friday for another grade totaling two grades a week.
