MISSION STATEMENT
Avery ISD is committed to providing quality education to meet the varied needs of a diverse student body. Every learner will have the opportunity to be challenged, successful, and prepared for life in a changing world. We believe that a quality education will provide every student the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills and effective communication skills. We will strive to promote academic, social, physical, and emotional growth in every student.

All student groups taking the TAKS/SDAA II will meet or exceed the state standard of 90% passing in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Student attendance will meet or exceed the 97% state standard. The district dropout rate will meet the state standard of 1% or less.

Avery ISD will provide a safe and orderly school climate, conducive to learning.

Avery ISD will increase parent and community involvement.
